@1aauto I appreciate the reply. I had a tough time with the video because I was watching it on an iphone. It was also 9:30PM and I had just worked a 14 hour shift when I was making my one hour drive home. I honestly didn't have my head in the game. I wound up having a tow truck dispatched and had the car towed to a service center to have it fixed. I wish I would have thought of the jack idea though.......

@sirmelancholia At the very beginning of the video we show you how to place a floor jack under the motor for support to prevent this from happening. You can place a floor jack under the motor to help push it up and back into position so that you can attach the bracket. The video will show you where to place the jack. Let us know how you make out. I have a 97 Chevy Cavalier and the belt broke last night. I took the bracket off that sits next to the coolant reservoir and above the belt pulleys. When I did, the engine block dropped and shifted about 1.5 inches and I can't even muscle the block back into position to re-insert the bolts for the bracket. Is this common?

Thank you. you helped me ressurrect my 96 corsica (go figure!) again. My neighbors were quite impressed seeing this lady take on such a job....:-)

great help. makes my day more eazier
Hi there, I plan on replacing the tensioner on my sister's '97 Cavalier, and I was curious id the engine mount bolts can be removed without a impact wrench?

@LoveMyZJ You should be able to also use a ratchet and a socket to remove them from your car.

Stupid question as obviously you would have said as such, but how similar would an 02 Sunfire be? So far all the videos you have of a Sunfire are similar across a good number of years. Any chance we're looking at the same luck here? Or just a small amount of differences?

@JinsokuMan On your 02 Sunfire the process should be fairly similar. You should only have one bolt that holds the belt tensioner in place.
