If you base your desicion of god being real or not on "Proof" , You will never believe. Christianity is a religion based on faith. Meaning you have to open up your mind and your heart in order to find out the true meaning behind God. Pick up a bible read the first couple of verses. I will admit there probably is no real "proof" unless you go to your church and see what goes on. I am proud to be a christian and I will always have faith and believe in Jesus Christ.

people use religion as a crutch to deal with there emotions... say for example: "jim" lived a horrible life and was addicted to drugs, untill he called upon god, repented then god saved him and now jim has been drug free for forty years." was it "god that delivered jim from this lifestyle, or was it "jim" using "god" a crutch to replace drugs and get over his habit with.." its kinda like replacing a negative thought with a positive one to cope with stress,. its all psycological.

wow.. clearly you don't dive into any actual reading of the bible at all. because if you WERE to read it, and/or try to understand it, you would know that God gave man free will. He would LOVE to be your savior, but that's your choice. Satan is the father of all sin. We are born to sin. Thus we will act out like our father, the devil.
