  • You play it better than Kirk bro...

  • thats is so cool how long have you played?

  • @MrHoopla Yes I see we both have 2 things in common bodybuilding which is somewhat me being new to it and guitar playing and metal... but I guess you cant compare an orange to an apple same as the another guitarist having different styles... but in the end i have to agree hammet belongs to metallica but he really sounds good maybe because of hendrix influence and satriani lessons just my opinion man you are also right in some aspects

  • @KellysterOverdrive Ok, 3rd comment in a row, then I'm done until you reply, I promise :P All I'm saying here, dude, is simple. I'm not trying to fight, I'm just trying to instill knowledge into certain non-believers. You can have your opinion that the color red is closer to black than the color brown, but the proof is there. Brown is definitely closer to black. Same with Dave and Kirk, the proof is there. I cover both their stuff, too. Check my channel.

  • @KellysterOverdrive Now my previous Chris/Marty comment being said, using Dave improvising the Cemetary Gates solo at a live Dimebag tribute is an awful example. It has nothing to do with who was in the band first, or being a front man. I'm a realist. It's clear as day that Dave is better at guitar than Kirk is, for the most part. Rhythm, easy. Soul/emotion, not so much, Kirk has this one. Shredding, HANDS DOWN, Technique, yes, and versatility? Absolutely.

  • @KellysterOverdrive Broderick is definitely more skilled than Friedman, but it's the same situation as Dave and Kirk. Chris doesn't have as much feel in his solos, simple as that. His solos are all about tapping, sweeping, and fast tremolo picking from top to bottom neck. Not much emotional behind that. Chris is definitely Megadeth's best guitarist ever, though, hands down. Suits Megadeth slightly better than Marty did, too.

  • @MrHoopla as vocalist he's better... but guitar playing? get real he cant even play an improvised solo of cemetery gates during live performance he just ratted out random guitar strings from high to low lol being a frontman and being the first in a band doesnt mean one is better like everyone is claiming. example friedman to broderick we all know who is better

  • @KellysterOverdrive Dave is NOT Shit compared to Kirk. They're both brilliant in their own ways, Kirk is better suited for Metallica, that's for sure. And his solos do seem to have more feeling in them, more often than not. HOWEVER, Technically speaking, when it comes to rhythm, depth, technique, versatility, Dave easily has Kirk's number. All around, Dave IS the better guitar player. This really isn't up for debate, it's just a known metal fact.

  • Reminds me of the old days in Centuries dude,

  • @KellysterOverdrive dave got just credited for spider chord period...
