  • This guy trying to make Canadian's pay as you go for internet now!

F U Tony, Canadians not going to pay for each MB we download!

Just for this im voting AGAINST your party, and i hope u loose ur job over this!.....

  • This is a huge issue for Visually impaired students across the nation such as my self. The new legislation means that we are unable to attain large print books easily and quickly when needed. It means that the Organizations that create the books will have to first get permission from the publishers prior to making these books which have become a staple to me over the past few years.

Although online copies have many benefits, It trains my eyes to look at the screen too much. Tony clement = fail.

  • Tony Clement is a dick head.

  • My question is, how are they going to monitor this? If some one is an independant artist who freely shares their music with other users... How are they going to distringuish that sharing download vs an illegal sharing that could result in a strike, in the 3 strikes your out policy?!

iIs the grey area's that arin't covered that will result in issues unless clarified.I doubt they will clarify as they havin't even bothered to inform the general public of the ACTA.

  • I just hope the copyright legislation is *really* aimed at encouraging people to be online, rather than padding corporate pockets.

  • I'm a digital biz so I'm looking forward to this. I think that getting everyone in Canada connected is pretty key as he said. Having ways for everyone, including urban poor, to participate online is also key, which means computer training and equipment.
