@fmw944 Right. The Stuka B-1 had propeller-driven sirens to produce that sound. The purpose of the sirens was to terrorize civilians and enemy troops.

In the western front they were outdated. But in the eastern front they were really good and they achieved huge successes all the way to the end of the war. Especially Ju-87G tank buster.
