UPDATE 12/9/08: Bailey found an amazing home with a loving family!
Bailey is a stunning dog with a very social personality! She relishes all humans from toddlers to elders and loves being doted on. She is an easy-keeper asking for your time and attention more than anything. Bailey is a house-dog not a yard-dog and people are her thing! A tossed ball or squeaky toy pales in importance compared to YOU! She is house and crate-trained and knows basic obedience. It is a pleasure to take long walks with her because she does not pull and will go in the direction you want to go. She's also a good co-pilot in the car, so take her everywhere with you. She is agile, athletic, and a hardy girl needing daily walks. After a nice walk, she is ready to lie by your side and get some long-lasting tummy rubs! Bailey is curious, smart, and biddable. Her home needs to be one that has no other pets. Bailey is a wag-a-second girl and greets people with such love and happiness. We adore this dog and expect to find her a home she can call hers for the rest of her life.
Bailey is a 3 year old female American Pit Bull Terrier who is in foster care with EnchantMutts in Albuquerque, NM.

Reminds me of my dog. Except this one is more calm. Mine is very energetic. But my pit is just as nice. There needs to be more of this so people can see that pits are not nasty dogs. nasty dogs are nasty dogs and there ALWAYS a reason for such behavior. Animal abuse is the 1# factor. The funny thing is that a LOT of people abuse their dogs and dont even know it.
