  • I don't know if it's a feature from your branch, but when you perform the "Lu" movement, i think you should put both hands as you were pulling someone's arm.

    Hope it helps, and good video!

  • Left hand draws back leading opponents wrist or forearm, right hand makes move similar to half circle from right shoulder area to left hip area rolling on your opponents elbow or forearm. This allows you more control of your opponents centre. If you just pull your opponents arm with both of your arms, even with turning your waist, opponent can step in and shoulder strike you.

  • basically in tai chi each technique can have multiple applications. Almost everything can be either grab, throw, strike or a Chi Na.. Thus each technique can be performed differently and yet it can be still correct from a technical point of view.
