AWESOME..... O__O
These are still some of the GREATEST teen flicks ever released. And your timing is IMMACULATE. The crying, the angst, the enchantment, the anxiety, it's all there. You captured the zest of a song I otherwise wouldn't have bothered to listen to. Great job.

Thanks for taking the time to do this! It was a good bridge for the generation gap, and it helped me remember what life was like at that age. My daughter and I thank you.

That was very cute!!! Inspired me to have Molly Ringwald marathon!!! =)
-
Lol, my bad. But Molly and Jon had a pretty good chemistry in the film, so if she did dislike him she did pretty well at not showing it.

@MadHatter3Z3 You know I meant Jon Cryer not John Hughes, right?
-
Lol, I find that hard to believe. He started her career after all! O-o...
-
@MadHatter3Z3 Also, apparently Molly couldn't stand Jon.

I love these movies. Pretty in Pink is probably like my favorite movie ever! :) I love Taylor Swift too, and I've heard this song and never really thought about it, but the song does go with the whole story behind these movies. Good job. =] ♥

john actually wrote the ending with andie and duckie getting together but the rest of the team said it didnt work so he changed it reluctantly and said in an interview afterwards he wished he never changed it!
-
ughhh I love this girl! shes the best 80's teen movie actress ever. I always conect with her "outcast" characters. because she played them so well

Duckie is jon cryer???
Wtf Taylor Swift and Molly Ringwald DO NOT MATCH!!!!

@esham2001 Exactly how do they NOT match? The lyrics explain life when you first become a teenager, and the Molly Ringwald movies are exactly that. That is why I made a video with the two. If you don't like it, don't watch it.

I love Taylor but PLEASE don't mix these two generations - There is no comparison...

@er6789er the only reason i did this song with these movies was because the song reminded me of it and i thought it would be a cute video and i had fun making it! I think it came out really well.

At the end of Pretty in Pink there was an alternate ending where she ended up with Duckie. Accept it didn't make the cut because apparently Molly was sick and Hughes didn't like the editing. And Hughes also didn't want people to think that rich and poor people couldn't be together also the pilot audience preferred her to end up with Blane.

@MadHatter3Z3 yeah i really liked the alternate ending better! lol even though Blaine was hot he didn't really treat her very well and Duckie was always there for her. She should have at least gave Duckie a chance. But I am guessing she just didn't have those kind of feelings for him and saw him more as a brother than a boyfriend.
