great video been taking a class, hard to find time between work and everything but its worth it. my grandpa taught me more than i realized. thought we were just haveing fun in the woods. keep it up

shared it on my facebook. very interessting video. force you to see things around you. i had the experience of going in the wood and came back with my stomac full. my mother asked me what did i hate. :) full of berry if you walk slowly. if you zoom by you wont see it. they where very good. look for moose shit or bear shit. good clue for near by food and danger...also look for bones remain and touth mark. saved my life once. Wolf pack!! they had just eaten.

Interesting you mention a tree falling because today at work a huge sugar maple almost wiped out myself and my crew. There was no wind it just went down with no warning. Never know what Mother Nature is gona throw at ya!

@knifedrago Plant ID is not an easy thing to learn on your own and to be honest with you it will take years to do but it's worth it. I hope you give it a try and stick with it, feel free to send me a message if I can be of any help.
