A little higher quality video of Jessie my great dane running at 30mph. I know there are many faster animals however I hope you enjoy the video of this Great Dane as shown mostly from the side. I am no dog expert and many will say large animals shouldn't do this much running. I disagree and I know I have a very happy great dane and she has been doing this for years and absolutely loves it with no ill effects other than being in GREAT shape. I adopted her from a rescue when she was about 18 months old. She was under fed and in poor health. She now has a nice home and loves to run. Enjoy.

  • SOOOO MUCH SALIVAAAA :p

  • run boy run - great vid!

  • Obviously the dog isn't mistreated...did you see how excited it was to run?

  • Wouldn't like to get chased by that...

  • That is a big boy!

  • OMG, that was amazing. What was the name of the piece of music in the slow motion bit. i want it at my funeral! totes

  • OMG! Jessie is running like a greyhound! 2 phases where the feet aint touching the ground!

  • i do the same thing with my black lab! i guess hes not the only one that loves the hum of a few hundred cc atv engine (or anything that's loud and goes fast)! great exercise and lots of fun for dog and owner. my lab has hit 32mph max after an hour run around the woods, i wonder how fast your dane could sprint??

  • My Dane does this through the house!

  • Wonderful! I say, if your dog wants to run in a safe environment, is in good shape, and is able to do so, what's the problem? I think people forget that dogs should be allowed to be dogs and she seems so happy to be out there with you. :-)
