How do the NEW Boston trains look today?

Damn! they'd never host a thing like this these days!! I'd love to take a ride on some old cars, too bad MBTA's too broke to do so. =/

I attended college in Boston 1970-74, and rode this style of train a couple of times. They were only pressed into service during rush hours. Everyone referred to them as 'cattle cars,' presumably because of the boxcar-like doors. At that time they had to be 60 years old.

VINTAGE! YES! awesome upload, you rock for this!
I don't think I ever saw you. The Orange line video was during the same NMRA convention. The female motorman does appear in some cab shots. I could check to see how much raw video I have of both trips that I could send you on a DVD.
