While I agree that Metallica owes credit to Infectious Grooves, I do not think that they made them better. Metallica began on a serious decline at the release of the Black Album, and have only gotten worse since.

these parts: the bass, rhythm guitar, lead guitar, all sound to me like they're from different songs, none featuring the drummer for janes addiction. but they sound cool frankensteined together!
