To you self proclaimed "old school"ers, you've clearly never never listened to Bad Brains, Minor Threat, Batallion of Saints etc otherwise you'd probably like ultra fast hardcore with brutal vocals. As a fan of both Shai Hulud and NOFX, I must say that this is a very well-done cover. They did a very good job taking a song that obviously has some kind of meaning to them, and making it their own style. Much like how cover songs ARE SUPPOSED TO BE DONE YOU IMBECILES. Oh, and there's no such thing as "too fast".

lol at people complaining about people not liking a cover because it doesnt sound the same. the reason people dont like this cover isnt because its different or too fast, its because it takes a melodic song which a large part of it is based on catchy vocals, and completely removes that element altogether.
