@LONGSHANKS542 what money was this? Which money went directly from "England" to Ireland? Couldn't the money that was paid from Westminster be counted as reparations? During the Irish famine, Ireland had a net export of food, as cattle and grain were sailed, under armed guard, from Irish ports to English ones. The people of Ireland never were financially recompensed for a famine engineered by the Westminster government.

And the English will get most of their money back. The banks will be sold and the Uk and the Netherlands will get their selling price. I have not been following this to well but have the Uk and the Netherland already received a part of it ? The rest will be payed if court decide to force Icelanders to pay the rest.

However, I thing the best idea is to find those damn bankers, who stole money from Iceland as well as the Netherlands and the UK and take their money from them.

I know well that the Queen of England does not rule over Britain. She is however among things like the language which binds the union to gather and much of that is English. Ok, Scotland and Wales have a Parliament. But f.e. England outnumbers Scotland by population 10 to 1. So their have more power in the larger parlierment ? So the parlierments in Scotland and Wales are there to make the Scots and Welsh more powerful at in their area to make things fairer ? (I am just asking)

No, the money bloody well does not stay in England. The Scots and Welsh have their own parliaments even - England doesn't. They're more free than England is. And it is not English rule at all. Sure, there's a Queen, but what power does she actually EXORCISE over anyone? There's been Scottish Prime Ministers, such as Tony Blair and Gordon Brown, and Scottish kings (including a certain king who united Scotland with England in the first place).

I thing you should guys, along with Wales, and Northern Ireland if they want, should become independent. Being independent and having a country of its own is in my eyes a right that every single nation should have.

From my perspective the United kingdom is not a union, it is English rule over the British isles. Everything that unites the Uk is English and the money stays more in England, right ?
