I think Howard Zinn was right that we need more democracy rather than less democracy. Corporations should be held responsible to democratic power in the same way governments are. All this demand in America for less big government, just attempts to weaken and in-debt government more and more, while given more power and political control to the corporation.

Wait what? Less carbon = less food and plant growth :) Are you serious? The actual amount of carbon dioxide in the air needed for a plant to convert the carbon to sugars for plant growth and respire oxygen is less than 1% If we stopped burning oil and coal today, plants would still be doing what they do now...5000 years in the future. There's more than enough C02 in the atmosphere, without us adding extra. Why did you write that comment?
