Why did you not pass through it? Merely strong winds. No sails, no problem.
Next time, aim higher and position the vortex disturbance just above the bottom of the video frame. Then no useless foreground at the exclusion of vortex.
People drunk and therefore not very aware?
The greatest concern here is LIGHTNING.

That was great. The water was like glass, the air calm, but there's a mini waterspout with a giant one in the background. Imagine if you lost all power to the engines and then the big one came and destroyed you. Not so much fun anymore, eh?
