  • Nice tutorial. I learned many things that I never knew about softimage.

  • Hi, I'm having trouble following this tutorial. I do everything as instructed, except when I reach the bit stage where you talk about the alpha slider on the layer, I find that it does nothing to change the texture, and its the same with the blending modes. Is there a setting that I am missing or something?

  • what version is this?

  • Can this be used in the creation of a UV map? Because that would be super convenient if I could just paint textures in XSI and not have to worry about unwrapping and all that unpleasantness.
