You do so many of these songs even better than the original artists. This is one of them. At this time of my life, this song is particularly touching.

Good Job. I hate YouTube covers, but you nailed this and made it your own. I vote you on to the next round Dawg!

@podline66 My pleasure...yes it was really "lightweight". I forgot though which Tim Moore lp (ok so I dated myself with that) it's on though. Larry, your gift of music just really makes my day. A what a way to start the work day by going in and seeing a new upload while I have my morning coffee. It's really relaxing and puts a smile on my face.
Larry, I like your version a whole lot better than Art Garfunkel's. Your version is more smooth and relaxing. Art's is ok, but what can I say when I heard your version, but WOW! Bit of trivia here Tim Moore also wrote the BCR's Top 20 hit Rock N' Roll Love Letter.

@SQDLVR Wow indeed!! Rock N' Roll love letter is a bit more, shall we say, 'lightweight' compared to this song and other songs he has written that I've heard..
I'm truly surprised.. Thanks as always my friend, for listening, sharing, and being so kind to me.

Tim is such a great writer to have been so overlooked by most. Don't miss his 1973 song "A Fool Like You."
Larry, this is a nice cover of this song done so long ago by Tim and Art. Thanks for digging into some of these almost forgotten tracks.

@dllewiszz Oh I didn't miss "A Fool Like You".. I know it well, and have considered doing it.. That was the first song of his I ever heard.. An "Album Rock" (remember that?) station in DC, WMAL-FM, played it all the time. That station also introduced me to Aztec Two-Step, Batdorf & Rodney, America, and too many others to mention. I had a radio by my bed in those days, and I drifted off listening to that stuff.. Then I woke up and heard Andy Williams, Al Martino, et al on the folks Magnavox..
