  • Republicans the party of no, the party of kick it down the road. the party of wars, the party of abusing religion, the party of protecting corporations, the party of hate, the party of greed, the party that will someday be no more.

    Remember GOP=GREED OVER PEOPLE

  • I don't think anyone is calling racism for everyone that has a problem with Obama, its just the people that watched deficits for every year George Bush was in office that are now calling the president a fascist for a record deficit that he didn't create. Also those "Bury Obamacare with Kennedy" signs don't help.

  • I notice that you couldn't name ONE world renouned research institution in the south. Thanks for proving my point.

  • Now you just insulted ALL the Colleges and Universities in the South! YOU Just keep opening you mouth and inserting your foot.

  • You act as if that's an insult. It's a point of fact. Yes it persists to this day. The north tore down every southern institution that they could in the 1860's and then didn't care to rebuild anything. That's just how it is.

  • I couldn't have said it better myself "veritable lack of high quality education in the south" . And it persist to this day! Enough said!

  • Because the industrial revolution of the early 1900's made the north more economically viable. In the 1800's the south was the most profitable land in the country. Add that to the fact that due to resentment from the north and veritable lack of high quality education in the south... you still have a disparancy 150 years later.

  • Then why do the Southern states RELY so heavily on the Northern state today???

  • I think that most historians would call you a LIAR!!!!

  • Civil war: War between organized groups within a single nation state, or, less commonly, between two nations created from a formerly-united nation state. The aim of one side may be to take control of the nation or a region, to achieve independence for a region, or to change government policies. It is high-intensity conflict, often involving regular armed forces, that is sustained, organized and large-scale. Civil wars result in large numbers of casualties and the consumption of large resources.

  • If the Confederate States of America were allowed to stay seceded back in the 1861, they would have the exclusive rights to all natural treasures, including oil, forever. Therefore, the south wouldn't be the impoverished cesspool that it is now, it would be a fully operational independant country that takes care of itself.

  • WHAT the FUCK does Oil in the 1860's have to do with TODAY????
