Firstly, if he was Muslim.. so what???? Not all Muslims are fundamentalist Abu Hamza clones with plans to destroy anything that moves. Equally, there is more chance of a Muslim becoming President than an Atheist. Secondly, the USA is supposed to have a separation of church and state, so his religion should have no bearing on his political standing. Unfortunately, since so many Americans believe in superstitious crap, it seems that separation is little more than empty words in the Constitution.
