I don't understand why people don't usually use OD pedals how they were meant to be used. You need to push your amp to the verge of breaking up. That way the OD pushes your amp over the top.

Try to dime down the volume knob on the guitar to get a different sound.

@snapascrew Hi ! ihave both maxon od808 and ibanez ts10 and they don't sound the same ...! (in my ears at least !)

the 808 is equal to the ts 808 :)

@Zztop128 if anyone wants identical tone to original ibanez ts10's, maxon made the guts for the ibanez original models back in the day so if you buy a brand new maxon od808 it is the same sound as an original ibanez ts10. and then the maxon od9 is the same as the ibanez ts 808 original...
