@aslongasyouloveme269 has it ever occurred to you that it is probably not allowed to run there? you realize that the show is semi- anticommunist? The show does not focus on that, but it's quite obvious that communism isn't shown in a good light. Saigon isn't even called that anymore. And most people don't know the existence of this musical because the Viet community at large is not very aware of theatre at all. And btw. It's Filipino, not phillipinese.

That well known play mentioned Saigon's woman - Vietnamese, but in fact it has never been played in Saigon - my home town where i live. I wonder Y ??? And mostly the young generation in my country dont even know about the existing of that play but my lecturer - a phillipinese - she does.
