@Zothaqqua Thats because they get sent money from the families in america. I send money back and so does my girlfriend. Especially in bayamo $20 american goes an extremely long way. If it wasnt for people like us then the situation would be a lot more like the food crisis in cuba duiring the 90s. Castro has nothing to do with how well they dress or eat. money does.

coñooo la pila de tiempo que hace que no cojo una conga, hace 4 años pk el año antes de irme de cuba suspendieron los carnavales pk el presidente se enfermo.....que recuerdos tan bellos para los que pudimos disfrutar de una niñes asi.

Hello Manny. I have no political opinion, but none of the Cubans I saw during two weeks of travelling in Cuba were shoeless or starving. They seemed quite well fed and healthy and were definitely well dressed -- that was very noticeable. I have no opinion on whether they are happy or oppressed, I can only tell you what I saw.
