This video shows fighting with the knife in close range. Close range fighting can be forced ON you or BY you and one should be able to fight in any range anyway. Here is a selection of sparring moments when the fighting switched to the close combat. All techniques shown here are shot from ACTUAL sparring sessions.

Excellent video. Where is this place? Looks like Mexico but can't tell for sure ....

Thank you very much for your compliment.

This was shot in Israel, actually. But now I will know that it looks like Mexico! :)

looks more realistic -some of the foot work is off balance on the new guys but thats normal --but its more real to a real knife fight -were its hard to control someones arm trashing violently -so ya its a no no nonsense approach for sure !

Definitely appreciate your video showing full speed. Keep hearing arguements about "what if's" and "I could have done this" scenarios by people who don't understand how fast and devistaing knife fights are. 90% of the time you're going to get cut, regardless if you come out on top. Just need to learn how to minimize the chances of serious injuries and know when to aggresivly and violently go offensive. They need to understand that it's literally a life and death situation. Great work guys.

Best knife fighting video ever. No fancy stuff and 100% aliveness (see matt thorton about aliveness in martial arts) so when you pull something off in sparring you can actually do it.

Just a question (not sure if there can be an answer): how do you prepare for the adrenaline/mental fuck/pressure when you should get into a knife fight. I know the difference between training but you don't feel the same pressure then as when you step into the ring with a guy who wants to knock your head of.

I always try what they do in CoD, with them grabbing their hands and shoving them into a wall or just stabbing them, it is surprisingly effective if you land it perfectly, but one mistake and you can be on the ground. Have you ever tried that move?
