even after they made those cymbals and stick bags for her?! wow what a slap in the face to zildjian lol
-
@Bradwick1 The turks have been making cymbals for hundreds of years... zildjian and istanbul originated from the same area but are just different companies. So no, it doesn't really mean anything.

@Bradwick1 The real Zildjian Factory (in Istanbul) is the place in which Istanbul Agop now works. The Avedis Zildjan are now made in U.S.A. and no matter with the traditional turkish suond

@napalmdeatho1 these cymbals are more jazz oriented.. the old zoldjian ones more rock
-
kinda random but i was thinking about this the other day and youre right, she shouldn of switched, they make cymbals for her and she leaves thats bologna
-
@Bradwick1 the zildjian's that you buy these days are allmost all made in america.
-
Istanbul 27 years old.
Zildjian 388 years old.
Not sure if this means anything or not.
-
if youre asking me for an opinion (which i believe you are)
i think they are lameo. but yes making cymbals for her was a very nice thing to do. but zildjian knew they could get dumped any day and had to brace themselves.
instanul came along and was like yo want some cymbals? and shes like YEE BRRAH. because istanbul is a better cymbal company. in some peoples opinion.
-
@howycwap zildjian wasnt lameo when she asked them to make a cymbal for her now were they
-
its flipping istanbul!! what would you rather have full zildjian or full instanbul.
vintage, or lameo (lameo being zildjian)
