  • My favorite quote from Dolly was "It takes a lot of money to make me look this cheap". LOL!!

  • Chet and Dolly were great friends and would go to each other's homes for dinner and sit around and play guitars afterward. Wish I could have been there. Dolly's laugh makes me feel happy.

  • This is just great. Thanks for posting

  • I love the way Dolly and Chet both make it seem so effortless. It's too bad they never recorded a full album together -- just Chet playing and Dolly singing -- what an album that would have been. Dolly has a similar musical and interpersonal chemistry with Chris Thile.

  • @toyama1212 -This sounds really dumb but what does teach mean? You put "Thank you teach Thanks" ? Xx.

  • @SuperTiaBaby Thank you teach

    Thanks

  • @toyama1212 -Longer then always. Or i will love you longer then always. Xx.

  • What is the title of this song?

Do you know? Please tell me

  • What is fantastic here is that although they had rehearsed it a little before; and I think really just a little, as it was like that in those times.; they took the song Dolly wrote forward spontanously. So you have Dolly saying to Chet, "no, let's do the base," becasue she doesn't think she can hit the high notes at that moment. Later Chet takes it higher, and she says, "I didn't keep wanting to do that," but she hits the high note perfectly and it makes this piece a gem among gems..

  • dolly parton has the highest pitch laugh in the world lol what a great voice and guitar playing though.

  • A great moment and delighted you put it up for others to listen to. They are both fantastic in this, above all if you realise that it is spontaneous. Chet and Dolly have nothing to prove and Dolly is still going strong. There is also a very nice live performance of this song, written by Dolly, in Heart Songs-Dolly Live from Home.
