nice cover hombre, shame there's no tabs of oceansize around. I think i've become too dependent on tabs anyways so I just downloaded the amazing slow downer to get me a bit of ear training. I was curious though about what tuning you use for this song?

Long live this band. Dream Theater keep on doing records and they don't. Not a fair world

@simognr New DT record is alright. Mangini definitely made a difference, whether it was conscious or not. Also the stuff Heron has been doing post-'size is pretty solid. Check out Kong, it's good. KInd of Math Rock/Noisey. Jorn Zorn-ish.

Of course you're right, and I've figured out the harder parts by myself before seeing you, but it's just those middle parts I've been chewing on literally since the album came out... I know i suck at pitch recognition ;) anyways, again, great job, man.

@cheshirepenguin Well if it's any consolation I have no idea what chords or what rhythm Gambler and Durose are playing in that bit either, I just made some shit up based on what it sounded like, and a rhythm which made it easier for me to count the changes. It was still a pain in the arse, hahaha. Pro-tip: go and get a copy of Amazing Slow Downer, it'll make figuring out trickier passages *a lot* easier. Good luck.

Very nice, man! Any chance of getting tabs? :)

@cheshirepenguin If I could be bothered making them, I'd definitely give you them. Unfortunately for most of these covers I just learn them by ear (usually takes about an hour or so these days depending on the tune), and then record it immediately. I recommend you do the same. It's probably the most beneficial thing you can do as a guitar player, for pitch recognition at least. Also a lot of what i was playing during the middle part was estimated or improvised, especially the "clean" chords.
