We flight attendants are AFA and we have the chance to work together to negotiate the appropriate contract for the world's largest airline. Pre-merger NW's total compensation is a bit higher than Delta's right now after bankruptcy, but we are still both at the bottom of the pay for major carriers. That has to stop and Delta's assurances that they will bring us to "industry standard" are not acceptable and Delta flight attendant pay and benefits can be changed at any time without a contract.

Yes- let's get AFA on the property and treat ourselves to the worst contracts in the airline iundustry. They can't even resolve the US Airways/ America West merger and that happended 4 years ago! Those flight attendants are STILL locked into their concessionary, legally binding , CRAPPY contracts with no way out in sight. They haven't even resloved seniority integration over there and it's been 4 years! Meanwhile, outr seniority is all ready settled - unless we vote AFA in.

We do have a tremendous opportunity in this merger to move beyond our bankruptcy contract at Delta and finally bring a legally binding contract to Delta. Pre-merger Delta FAs won't even pay any dues until the majority of our joint group ratifies a new joint contract. What's to lose in that equation? We can seize this opportunity, together. We just have to reach out and do it.

In effect all union FA's over the years have been carrying Delta FA's on their backs. We have been paying dues for them. They have been reaping the benefits of our contracts by Delta keeping up with the contracts so their FA's don't go union. It's time for Delta FA's to step up to the plate and join us for the betterment of everyone by all of us having a union and contract. Think of what we could do as a united group! VOTE UNION.

By saying no to a legally binding contract, you are saying NO to yourself, your coworkers, and your family. We all deserve the best. By working together as a collective group we can get there.

Otherwise we are handed the leftovers just as we have received in the past!

And while in the past we may have been given what other F/A make, it is not the case any longer. On average, NW F/As total compensation is higher then that of Delta F/As, which is still lower then most other airlines.

Since the new Delta is now a World Class Airline, don't we deserve to be paid as the best?

Lastly, try it with a union! It is the same process to vote a union in or vote a union out.

Please come back again.
