Flying Legends - 11th and 12th July 2009
Flying Legends - two words which instantly evoke the very best of classic aircraft displaying at Duxford in one of the world's most celebrated air shows. The Fighter Collection and the Imperial War Museum are proud to present the 2009 event; another unmissable fusion of power, sounds and nostalgia

  • @heel60 are you asking what time is it?

  • You don't often get to see the russian planes at ww2 airshows. Pretty cool.

  • @Loxleiev

None of the old Klimovs are reliably available, so they use Allison V-1710s. Also note that while the pale blue machine is a Yak-3, the second, green camo machine is a Yak-9 variant. The windscreen is a giveaway: Yak-3s had a single piece, unframed windscreen. Yak-9s had a framed windscreen.

  • yak3 ? was ist das ??? der deutsche lanzer an der ostfront bezeichnete russisches "fluggerät" als NÄHMASCHINEN.

  • what engine do those planes have? i dont think its the original or remake of the actual engine the yak-3 had

  • omg REALLY great!

i wanna film like that :D
