it really pisses me off that it is going straight to dvd. for once, i am seeing a horror film that actually looks entertaining. and not only does it look entertaining, every review i have seen of it says it is the "its a wonderful life" of halloween movies.

Weirdly everyone at the screening did die 7 days later, but I doubt that has anything to do with WB's decision not to release the film.

It hasn't come out. There was one screening in L.A. and one in NYC in October 2008, but no real release. Yet.

So this hasnt come out in theaters yet? I saw the trailer for it in 300......is it coming out at all?

Not yet, as far as I know. Maybe it will come out in October 2009, it is all about Halloween. The again, who knows, both of the Rob Zombie Halloween remakes had/have August releases.
It was a great movie, I hope everybody gets to see it.
