If I had all the money in the World,I would buy endless books!

A Clockwork Orange, Of Mice and Men, Middlesex, and Fight Club. Excellent. I didn't enjoy Augusten Burroughs, but really recommend you read more Chuck Palahniuk. Invisible Monsters is really, really, very good.

@AlexisKatchuk I hope that my comments did'nt come across as critical of you. That was not my intention. I was merely making a statement of personal educational philosophy. As for Rand,I put her in the ambiguous catagory because inspite of her work's influence(Tea Party,Libertarianism, etc.)and survivability(never out of print) she is treated dismissively by many. I personally found Atlas Shrugged & the Fountainhead to be brave & powerful works.

@sleedolfine15 I'm well aware that books require savoring. I have my Master's in English and am now getting my PhD. And you might want to move Ayn Rand from "ambiguous" to "classic" seeing as how her works are anything but "ambiguous" in the literary circle and her works are considered classics.

@AlexisKatchuk Some books requires savoring, mulling over to fully get the sum of the work. In fact, some books are due repeated reads. A book is not something to get past in order to get to the next read. Better than a year's reading goal is a lifetime reading list like that susgested by the late Mortimer Adler. My own list includes obvious classic writers like Shakespeare,Homer,Tolstoy, etc. along with more ambigious choices like Ayn Rand,Anne Rice, etc. But I do like the idea of reading goals.

I average 100-200 books a year. You may want to look up "GoodReads' which has many readin challenges. You have a very good stack there...best of luck! Roseann

You are so adorable. I hope you read those books! I'm not sure how old you are but if you are over 18, which I am assuming, I will go ahead and say that you are very very pretty, as well.
What's the name of the blue book with yellow letters?
All I could read was "Everything is.."
