It would be great if you could do the same tutorial with a mac or at least with itunes. I'm having trouble dragging and dropping the songs from itunes into the crate, not sure why? Can anyone help?

but if you have 2 dual core computer it builds 2 overviews at a time and a 4 core pc builds 4 overviews at a time

that's right, if you want to use 2 decks to mix&stuff you need to buy the hardware (about €550,-) and as soon as you connect the interface that comes with that package you wil get 2 deck controls

How is it compared to Traktor Scratch ?

If you want to run Serato with the CDJ400's, you will still need to buy the SSL interface.
I don't use Tractor, so I'm not sure how it compairs. All I can tell you is that SSL is still the industry standard when it comes to virtual vinyl
