Annette Funicello On Campus

The 1964 "Annette On Campus" LP is the least sought after with Annette collectors. Problem is - Annette only sings maybe 10% of the time. In addition, what she does sing is more like marching band music - not her familiar rock/surf/ballad music. For that reason, this video is just two small snippets spliced together from one of the six minute songs on that LP, to give you an idea of what you're not really missing - unless of course you like college band music.

This is a great LP. I bought everything Annette recorded, as a matter of fact I bought two copies of every LP and single so I wouldn't have to get up and turn it on the other side.

the cover on the flipside side of the album is as good a photo as this. It is a full length shot of Annette wearing the same outfit, color.

I was a giant fan back in the day, but just couldn't get interested in buying this album, even with the cover photo. Now that I see she only sang on it 10% of the time, I guess my instincts were correct.
