Barnaby Phillips, Al Jazeera's Europe correspondent, travelled across the US to find out what ordinary Americans feel about five key electoral issues.
In part two of American Challenge, he finds a country struggling to cope with the increasing cost of healthcare.
Exactly. Where is the regret? For doctors and corporations? They'll get paid plenty.

"Socialized healthcare sounds good to most uninformed, but years after its implemented, many will regret it."
Really?...How so?
The U.K. has had socialized health care since the 1940s and the people there would flip out if it was taken away.
It's cheaper, easier on the working class and much more in line with human rights to have access to health care.
Single payer health care is publicly funded and privately delivered. When I'm sick the last thing I want to do is negotiate. I want help.

Get rid of government managed care middle men, and let doctors negotiate with their patients.
