"tailing " is a method of landing fish, where tailed loop is fastenened around tail of fish to land it
fed up with youtube-too many ridiculous replies
i never mentioned this method of landing fish in my previous comment

excellent catch and release, as you notice fishermen did not worry about losing fish- as he could have netted it, but he waded in and released
He said it was a kelt-spawned Atlantic fish?
But altogether a very informing video
