Views of the rides at Joyland and Pleasure Beach in c1967. These include the Snails and Tyrolean Tubs (which is now the last known surviving variation of the Virginia Reel) and kiddies rides at Joyland; and Calypso, Flying Saucer, Big Wheel and park views of the Pleasure Beach.
I can remember seeing Ruby Murray at the Windmill Theatre and Dusty Springfield at the ABC in Regent road. Botton Brothers Pleasure Beach had some rides with a twist. The Vampire Jets rose up and tilted to give a more interesting ride. The Helta Skelter had a large wooden bowl at the foot of the ride where riders would spin round . The Roller Coaster had the Alpine look and was more impressive to the eye. I can also remember on a rainy day seeing The Mole People at the Empire Cinema. Wonderful.

Thanks so much for putting this on You Tube.Very nice to see .... but how I wish the film was longer ....I remember every thing in the film as if it were yesterday ......... it was the best decade to spend time in Yarmouth .... ( I saw The Beatles at the ABC in the early 1960's ...plus the Mods and Rockers )
The Snails have to be the most memorable thing about any visit to Yarmouth ...... I went on them in the 1950's ... the track layout still seems to be the same !!!!!... Great Days
