Nope. It was a TRUE refresh after too many fighting games (in other consoles, true)... also, it has an alternate story, fitting for a tactical RPG. If you love thinking, you'll like it. Believe me...
After some time, you'll prefer thinking and using the head before the blades... just philosophy...

so true, bleach 3rd phantom sucks, they shouldve stuck with their old beatemup formula, I guess they couldve made story mode an RPG, but like fights the same street fighter style...?

Haha, whoops, I guess I missed that part. :P I hope they'll make a REAL Bleach ds 3rd sometime including the arrancars and Vizards, this new one called "Bleach ds the 3rd phantom" is just a freaking rpg.. They ruined the Bleach ds series by making it an rpg.

Now when you say it, it DOES kind of remind me of Street fighter, but there's some stuff that makes it feel different. But the style of the fighting mechanics are kinda' Street fightish, it's hard to explain though.
