I thought I was the only person on the planet who knew that. But one small correction, if I may. BC's variety show was called "The New Bill Cosby Show". "Cosby" was the sitcom after his short-lived mystery series "The Cosby Mysteries".

In addition, this was also the theme for an unsold pilot of NYSI in 1985. The pilot was hosted by Jack Clark.

Actually it had THREE TV incarnations. It was the theme for "Cosby", Bill Cosby's short-lived variety series before the two versions of "Now You See It" and before Cosby headed to New York to head the Huxtable clan.

Cos had TWO failed variety shows? I remember "The New Bill Cosby Show" -- notable if for no other reason that it introduced us to Foster Brooks. (He did that intoxicated CBS Executive so well, the first time I saw it I actually believed it for a few moments.)
And I will say it again -- HOW can you go wrong when QJ writes your opening theme.
I'm talking about NYSI -- loved that opening. If they ever bring it back -- electronic advance notwithstanding -- they need to go back to the neon logo.

At 3:00, I'm guessing that the category is "Game Show Hosts". I shall find them. Line 1, Trebek. Line 1, Convy. Line 2, Barker. Line 3, Henry. Line 3, Combs. Line 4, Eubanks.
