  • I loved being at FT RUCKER in 67-68 The best part was seeing part of THE GREEN BERETS filmed at tac X close to SAMSON AL. They had 6 of us jump out of a Huey about two foot off ground and run toward some weeds.

  • I've been through that area more times than I can recall and have never been to the museum. I'm left wanting. Love those fly- bys from Rucker while fishing on PC Beach.

This may be a useless piece of trivia, but Al and Tipper Gore were next door neighbors to the Quayles(Dan) while stationed at Ft. Rucker.

  • Ft Rucker in 75 for 67N school then E. City, N.C. for AD school 1982

  • @will0ughby haha! Well, since I posted my first comment, I decided to opt from Army to Coast Guard. Now I'm on a cutter. lol. Slight change of plans.

  • @jammin4him247 what year? (hope to see ya there!)

  • Apache Is The Best Attack Helicopter Ever!

  • Can't wait to have flight training there!

  • Cool, brings back good memories from my days at Mother Rucker.

  • My 8 year old son said "This one needs to be added to our favorites. So it is. Mommy likes the song.
