The 'big white thingey' represents FREEDOM of thought, expression and belief! Each to be found within the liberal, catholic ANGLICAN tradition. I doubt you will find such things within the romish persuasion.
-
@peakster753 its this thing thats supposed to represent the holy spirit it probably has a dove on the end of it. im not found of them either my church has one as well and i dont believe i people think when they see it " thats the holy spirit" i think they wonder " why is an acolyte spinning a dove around on a stick
-
Yeah, what is that white thingy. I'm not sure if I fancy it.
-
What is the big white thingy being spun about starting at around 2:25 and what is meant to signify??
-
@Repmanly yes it is
-
This is Episcopal, I'm pretty sure, not Catholic.
-
My word! Amazing and very moving!
-
Very Catholic though, very !

Too much reeds in the first verse... should be more mellow to flow with choir... then reeds for final verse and refrain all the way!!! Trumpets only in final reprise... to much mish-mash otherwise :-/
