Since you cut it so short already nxt time you should just shave it down with a #1 guard or no guard. Then you could watch it grow through every hairstyle.

I really hope you do decide to have your hair buzzed again and share it with us on YouTube - and that you go down an extra grade too to see how it feels - I am sure you will love it. Having very short buzzed hair really does suit you ! You look fantastic

thanks, everyone! it's growing out now so it's a bit awkward but i can't wait to buzz it off again... and i'll def go down a grade next time! and surprisingly, i got more compliments than weird looks. so if anyone is worried about doing it - just GO FOR IT! it's just hair, it will grow back :)

My hair is about halfway down my back and I'm getting it shaved off to raise money for cancer research in about a month. This makes me super excited 'cause it looks great on you!!! I was worried I might wind up looking too much like a boy.

@switpolack - we used the 9mm (i think it would be a 3). we're in new zealand backpacking, so had to borrow a pair of clippers from a friend for the cut. i'm not sure how long i'll keep it though, i did it for fun but actually LOVE it. so we'll see!! :) my husband is the guy in the video cutting it, and he actually likes it more than he thought he would :) if i'm happy, he's happy, right??!
