I'm an Arab, a muslim Arab, and I think the main reason behind the Arab/Israeli conflict is the media. Here in the MidEast, the media portrays Israel as the bad guy, killing and assaulting Palestinians everday. Whereas in the West, however, the media portrays Israel as the good guy, just defending its territories from casual terrorist attacks by the Palestinians. I think that the Arab/Israeli conflict can be solved by neutral media and a little sacrifice from both sides.

Unfortunately 95% of the comments I receive from the Arab world are hateful, racist and based on ignorance. i'm just 14 years Jewish girl from israel and its made me cry. no one in the world would never be able to understand us. they see photo of crying palestine and immediately think that we are the terrorist because this is what they grew up to. they dont know that living here is live in fear. every day another one blow hem self just to kill people. to kill us. this seems like the poor ones? we are small. we are one. they are like 20 countries. why cant they just leave us to live our life in peace?

@heatcooker1 I am an American Jew. I also think that the media portrays things in a skewed manner... However it is hard to deny that Palestinian rockets are aimed at civilian population centers. I also think that sometimes Israelis conducts themselves in a manner which is less than conducive to peace though not as a policy. The big difference is that the Israeli army is not intentionally shelling children's school buses and the radical religious Jews are held a bay.

@heatcooker1 Thanks Heatcooker for your comment... Your view on the western media might be true in the USA, but in Europe and Finland (where I'm from) the news coverage on the conflict reminds more of the Arab media than the "Western" you described. Israel is usually seen as the bad guy...
