I'm an Arab, a muslim Arab, and I think the main reason behind the Arab/Israeli conflict is the media. Here in the MidEast, the media portrays Israel as the bad guy, killing and assaulting Palestinians everday. Whereas in the West, however, the media portrays Israel as the good guy, just defending its territories from casual terrorist attacks by the Palestinians. I think that the Arab/Israeli conflict can be solved by neutral media and a little sacrifice from both sides.

Unfortunately 95% of the comments I receive from the Arab world are hateful, racist and based on ignorance. @samsaulavi You are right! People need to face the truth. They are afraid to say anything negative about what the Arabs/Palestinians are doing for fear they will be seen as prejudice. Seeing the Palestinians for what they are-deliberate killers of children and civilians, and standing up for Israel can only help bring peace to the Middle East.

@heatcooker1 for that (and you are wrong about the west media) you need the Easterners to be self-critical over their behavior and history. The West needs to be less racist in the way they excuse the violence and corruption in "those" countries. Israel gave up land for peace, has taken risks for peace, and was repaid with more hatred and more wars.
