Great question! For the AT&T Captivate and the T-Mobile Captivate, the speaker is not blocked by the plastic backing of the holder. For the Verizon Fascinate and the Sprint Epic 4G, the speaker would be blocked in the default position. However, the Mega Grip holder's support legs are removable and can be positioned on the opposite side of the holder. So, due to its versatility, the holder can be adjusted to not block the speaker on those two phones.

when you mount the samsung galaxy, I see the camera is exposed on the back, it's hard to tell if the speaker is exposed as well, can you confirm?
