  • I will say it again, they did not rip of zeplin, nor did zeplin rip off them, nor did priest or sabbath or anyone at that time, its just the direction the music was going. HEAVY blues influences surrounded the scene then. Of course it is all going to sound the same, much like Metallica, Megadeth, Slayer, etc, all sound similar and where around the same time. Just the way the music was going. If anything, we could say they all copied off of Robert Johnson.

  • this is way lot better than Led Zeppelin...

Metallica was influenced a lot by Budgie. Sure the influence was all blues, but within that bands sounded similar. Metallica and all the other later stuff was based not as much on Led Zeppelin as on Black Sabbath and bands like Budgie and Atomic Rooster

Looks like Geddy Lee, Meat Loaf and Adam Sandler were once bandmates lol. Now theres a band I have to hear to believe haha.

  • @seaperu1 Think they had two albums man, have the first two anyway....But yes, definitely right, that first album is a classic!

  • Paris was a great three piece headed by Bob Welch who's only album

rocked as hard as any other... try it!

  • stop comparing this band to anyone! they were original and others copied these! perfection!! STEZYREZY

  • Its a shame Shelly sacked drummer Ra\y Phillips - all due respect to this one, but it was the beginning of deviation from a great original HM sound.

  • Can I just say something to the Zepp fans (i'm one), Budgie as a band pre date Zeppelin, so in the scheme of things who influenced who, we all know Zeppelin, ripped off Willie Dixon and Muddy Waters in the blues stake.
