The Dover-Sherborn defense, let my senior co-captains Aaron Oberst (#70), Billy Polk (#42), Kyle Brockway (#51) and Chris Ouellett (#74) stymied the bigger Medfield High School Offense holding them to 48 yards on the ground and a 14-8 win on Thanksgiving Day. This is a video of Aaron Oberst (#70) 6'4", 245 lbs, Dover-Sherborn defensive end sacking the Medfield QB and later, with only two minutes to go in the game, with Medfield driving for possibly the game winning touchdown, sealing the victory with an leaping interception. Aaron had 10 tackles, 4 for a loss and three sacks and 1 interception from his defensive end position holding Medfield to their one of their lowest point total of the season. Aaron Oberst won the game ball for the outstanding player of the Game. This is the third year in a row that Dover Sherborn has beaten archival and neighboring powerhouse Medfield, a big, tough, hard hitting and well coached team. Medfield has overwhelmingly dominated the series competition for the past 45 years. A Dover Sherborn win over Medfield at Medfield is a remarkable and seldom achieved accomplishment.
