Memorial Day 2009.

Shepherd of My Heart is a song that I first played at a funeral. It is my favorite hymn because it is both melodically simple yet lyrically deep.

However, Francis Patrick O'Brien's (1958) version is rather obscure due to the success of numerous other songs on Psalm 23. Thus, I wanted to make a cover of it to make it better known. This music is my own arrangement, but you can find the original sheet music from GIA Publications, Inc.

i just went to a funeral this morning...they played and sang this song. I absolutely love it. I hoping to find sheet music or even just chord progressions so I can sing it over and over again. so beautiful. great job

Hello sir! Heard "Shepherd of My Heart" sung once in a Mass and I immediately liked it. The trouble is, I can't find one songbook online or in the bookstores that has the piano chords of this song. I was only able to download a low-resolution music notation but I do not know how to read musical notations.
