World Horse Welfare has been working together with Horse and Country TV over the past three months to create the 'Wild round-up Rescue' documentary.

The programme provides a behind the scenes insight into an operation to prevent almost 100 semi-feral horses becoming serious welfare concerns., which took place on a farm in North East Scotland in May, and was the biggest and most unusual project ever co-ordinated by World Horse Welfare.

You can watch the premiere of Wild Round-up Rescue on Horse & Country TV Sky Channel 280 on Wednesday 14th September at 20:00.

  • @piethefish I know, right!? Ugh

  • Hmmm i wish i was in the U.K i would adopt one and break and train it and gift it to a friends little brother that is looking for a new forever friend i love what you guys do so save theses treasured animals <3 <3

  • I hope and pray they will be certain the "adopted" horses are going to good caring homes - not to slaughter. It's tragic that wild horses will have their family units broken, and way of life destroyed. Here in the US, the government agency who is supposed to protect them (BLM) are violently capturing wild horse and burros, taking a hundred horses off a million acres. There is NO overpopulation. they just want to kill them off to break the spirit of the people. It's so wrong!

  • When is this on???

  • @BreyerLover118 yes its in aboyne aberdeenshire

  • what place will they be going to? is there a world horse welfare centre in Scotland? i would love to visit them one day

  • @RockyRaccoonsFriend you can adopt horses from world horse welfare if your have stables and land and stuff, once they have done all the work with them

  • gosh these horses are beautiful! thanks for helping them! I want one!!
