  • Hi!

Congratulations for Fine Arts, expected to put more videos, LUCK

  • I'm very impressed with your series of videos, outstanding quality! What kind of paint are you using here? ...acrylic, tempra, gouache, oil? I can never find any information on the proper paint, or at least the modern equivalent of that from antiquity.

  • wow you really take your time

i dont think id be patient enough

  • Traditionally, parchment (or vellum) is indeed a highly refined animal skin. I do believe she is working on true parchment here. Look at her 1st video in the series. You can see the irregular shape of the material. The closest paper product that I have seen, to simulate the look and feel of parchment, is called "Pergamenata". It can be found online through a few specialty calligraphy and book-binding suppliers.

  • Thanks for sharing your craft with your Youtube audience! What kind of paint are you using for our painting and is parchment a type of paper product? From what I understand, in the past, parchment was made from sheep skin.
