@ploy3snoy you are right it was science of that time that was wrong. People blame Theist all the time. Galileo who was Theist suggested the earth went around the sun. How come no one gives credit of that? Next they are going to say Hubble was the one who came up with the big bang theory when it was originally Lemaître who was a theist also. I am sure if Lemaître was wrong Christians would get laughed at also.

Christianity wasn't wrong about the sun going around the earth.
Some guy who happened to be a Christian (and probably astronomer) said that.
You can't then blame Christianity for being wrong because then you include the religion.

@S0undBite But here's the problem with so called "Creation Scientists": First, they expect that their "theory" is to go into text books without being peer reviewed. Second, they propose no evidence more than "It's in the Bible." Third, and this is the irony of your first statement, "Creation Scientists" are more likely to attack real scientist than the other way around.

@fastleppard I didn't call you ignorant for believing in something I called you ignorant for calling a person or thing fake, deceiving, or a liar. That you couldn't come up with an argument that says more than a video is fake, is deceiving, and that a person is a liar and couldn't explain why makes you look ignorant.
-
@HimesInu I am not ignorant ! You are the one that is fall in ignorance , because you can not understand God . God is simple and shows the simplicity of faith and virtue that you do not understand !
-
@HimesInu Well I agree with your point, SOME scientists are fair but not EVERY scientist, just been called a scientists does not make you fair and if you say that it does, well you just disproved yourself. If you went to communist Russia, creastionists would get shot, right or wrong, or partly right and party wrong, it would not matter because they were challenging the institution. The only thing that changes is the institution. People are still going to think they are infallible.
-
@S0undBite I don't care if they are friendly or not. Also what does that have to do with my comment? And why are you quoting something I didn't say?
-
@HimesInu "you are wrong", people are not all going to be friendly and open their arms to you.

@burkerow even in the scientific world, new theories that go against the grain are considered heretical, it's not religion, it's just human nature, it's just that back then the church was the scientific institution, even if there was no religion there would be some other scientific institution that castrated new ideas. It's human nature to think we have everything figured out, until someone like einstein, or tesla comes along and turns the world on it's head
