The Peace Prize is not meant for what someone will do.
That's like giving me the oscar in the hopes that one day I will be a great actor.
The peace prize is supposed to be given to those who have spent most of their life trying to do something that benefits the human race and helps create more peace.
And let's face it, this was all about politics, he got the prize because he's not bush.
Obama should have turned the nobel prize down and let someone worthy have it.

Yasser Arafat won that prize, so Obama winning it was actually a step in the right direction.

I despise the man and his agenda. His goal seems to be to finish the job that Bush started and totally destroy what remains of our economy. He was nominated for the Nobel Prize in January 2009 about the same time that he was sworn in as President. If he has done anything to be worthy of a Peace Prize I don't know what it is. He seems to be incapable of making a decision as to what to do with the war in Afghanistan but had no problem in reversing "don't ask don't tell". Thanks for your interest.
